Your In-Service Choices The Out-of-District Program Integral Ballroom located in Murrysville, Pennsylvania, provides a real “ballroom” atmosphere where teachers can monitor their skill level with the use of mirrors, videos and one on one assistance. Each level offered is a one day program providing 8 hours of course work. Schedule: · One hour prep (to be completed before arrival) · 8:00 AM Registration · 8:15-10:00 AM Instruction · 10:00-10:15 AM Break · 10:15-11:30 AM Practice With Partners · 11:30-12:15 PM Catered Lunch · 12:15-1:45 PM Review · 1:45-3:00 PM Assessment* · One hour implementation (to be completed in classroom) *Assessment will be based on: · Musicality · Footwork (as both lead and follow) · Connection Teachers will also be given: · Video of their assessment · Materials with music choices and patterns The In-District Program Our instructor will visit your school on an in-service day and provide a minimum of three hours of instruction. Participants will be given the opportunity to work as one large group learning the basic step patterns to two dances (dances will be decided prior to arrival) and then work in smaller groups practicing teaching the steps as both the lead and follow.
